BTS - Tomorrow
This is one of my favorite songs from my favorite k-pop band, BTS. They sing about never giving up on your dreams and always chasing them. Even if you fail, keep running and looking forward to tomorrow. This song really spoke to me when I first saw the lyrics and I almost cried reading them. I was going through a tough time with college applications and I really thought I was going to fail and never get into college. The first few line of lyric really portrayed the frustration that I felt with myself and then when the chorus breaks, it made me feel hopeful for the first time in a while. They sang about perseverance and strength in the toughest of times, “The dawn right before the sun rises is the darkest”. It’s hard to explain how exactly music makes you feel in the moment so I’m just going to let you read it and maybe it’ll help you understand a little bit more.
